Public Tax Manager
Experienced CPA with leadership skills and a passion for client service. Oversee and manage tax engagements for a boutique public accounting firm. Position is open immediately. Roswell, GA. Position Overview: A boutique accounting firm in Roswell is looking for a Public Tax Manager to take ownership of tax compliance and advisory services across a diverse client base. This is a high-impact role offering autonomy, professional development, and long-term career potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage tax compliance and advisory services for individuals and businesses
- Review complex tax returns (1040, 1120S, 1065, 1120, etc.)
- Supervise and mentor junior staff and seniors
- Handle client communications and deliver high-level service
- Identify tax planning opportunities and ensure compliance with current tax laws
Qualifications:
- CPA license required
- 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Proven experience managing engagements and mentoring teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office
