Job Details Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Current licensure as a registered nurse; certifications include ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale); a minimum of 5 years of experience in an emergency room setting is required. Preferred Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience, patient-centered approach with a focus on creating a positive experience for patients and families, and meeting operational metrics. Float: Float rotation may be required, but only to units appropriate to skill or as a set of hands. Additional Information: The role involves handling a diverse patient population across all ages with standard ER cases. The candidate should be self-motivated, self-sufficient, and able to perform all emergency room tasks including phlebotomy, IV placement, EKGs, splinting, wound care, and patient transport.
