Job Summary Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, part of the Pacific Northwest Division of CommonSpirit, is actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled PRN Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join our team in Tacoma, WA. Position Overview Our group is a well-established physician and midwife women's health practice located in the Pacific Northwest. We comprise 9 OB/GYN physicians, 18 CNM’s, 6 MFM, 1 urogynecologist, and 2 gynecologic oncologists, providing evidence‑based women’s health services to Tacoma and surrounding communities. Our practices are strategically located near the hospitals from which we work. Responsibilities Assist predominantly with outpatient clinic duties and some on‑call duties, primarily from home. Deliver 0‑4 babies per month, performing cerclages, amniocentesis with CVS, and optional fetal echocardiograms. Work with support staff including medical assistants, nurses, and trained MFM sonographers. Collaborate with readily available GYN/ONC and urogynecology support. Qualifications MD or DO, Board Certified/Board Eligible (must become BC within the first two years). Washington State medical license required at time of employment.
