Position Summary The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee, espresso-based beverages, specialty drinks, teas, smoothies, and snacks while providing exceptional customer service. This position helps maintain a clean, organized, and efficient coffee truck operation and contributes to a positive, engaging atmosphere throughout the facility. This part-time position is ideal for someone seeking a flexible schedule while working approximately 16-20 hours per week . The ideal candidate is dependable, enthusiastic, and passionate about hospitality and creating great customer experiences. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, specialty beverages, teas, and other menu items. Deliver excellent customer service to residents, visitors, family members, and employees. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and accurately handle transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee truck, equipment, and work areas. Stock supplies, ingredients, cups, and inventory throughout each shift. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines. Assist with opening and closing duties. Monitor inventory levels and communicate ordering needs. Ensure beverage consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met. Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for every customer. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Qualifications Previous experience as a Barista, Coffee Shop Associate, Food Service Worker, Cashier, Café Attendant, Restaurant Team Member, or Customer Service Representative preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Food service, restaurant, hospitality, or coffee shop experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment screening.
