About the Role

We are seeking a Social Media & Production Assistant to support two key areas of our business: social media management and in-house production. This is an entry-level position that includes a structured onboarding period, during which the candidate will train directly alongside our current Social Media Coordinator and in-house photographer/videographer before assuming independent responsibilities.

Responsibilities

•       Social media platform management, content scheduling, and content creation that follows our brand guidelines

•       Assisting our in-house photographer/videographer on production shoots, including product catalog photography, set assistance, and execution of repeatable tasks once processes have been established and demonstrated

•       Balancing responsibilities across both social media and production based on current team needs and workload

•       Contributing across the team as needed. Flexibility is essential to successfully working within our small, collaborative environment

Qualifications

•       Strong ability to follow direction, retain information, and work independently once trained

•       Interest in social media strategy and content with familiarity of what drives performance across platforms, not just casual user experience

•       Any background in photography, videography, or digital media is an asset but not required

•       Reliable, detail-oriented, and communicative

•       A collaborative attitude and ability to thrive in a small team environment where adaptability is essential

•       Natural instinct is always better than prior experience.

Compensation & Additional Information

Starting pay is $20.00/hour.

This is a full-time, in-office position (Monday through Friday) within a small team. Our environment is more hands-on and less structured than a large corporate setting. Team members take ownership, wear multiple hats, and stay engaged even during quieter periods between major projects. The pace naturally ebbs and flows, so success in this role comes from being self-directed, adaptable, and comfortable working independently while staying proactive.
