Seeking a result-driven, self-starter to manage the data integrity of the existing database within our SAP, MRP (Materials Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management Database) as it relates to a new product, pricing accuracy, and inventory control.

This position will be the point person for overseeing and implementing the uploading of vendor price files into SAP to effectively create queries for margin analysis, forecasting, and planning.

The candidate will support purchasing and operations to help develop solutions to streamline processes within SAP B1 related to inventory, item management, and margin optimization.

Individuals must be detail-orientated, possess a sense of urgency, and be committed to accuracy and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and monitor items in a high volume inventory database within SAP and CRM
• Prioritize new item creation within Item Master Data for timely sales quote turnaround
• Upload quarterly vendor price files into SAP
• Work with Purchasing and Management to develop best practices in item costing to ensure accurate and clear data is provided to Sales and Senior Management
• Data clean-up, migration, and revisions for product phase-out and discontinued items
• Build queries and dashboards using raw data from SAP to be utilized for business analysis for all departments
• Work with Purchasing and Operations to develop an inventory classification system to allow for in-depth Supply Chain analysis and MRP planning
• Collaborate with cross-function teams and contracted SAP consultants to develop system enhancements related to process improvement within the organization
• Enhance process efficiency and communication via EDI data uploads to distributor portals, company SharePoint, and CRM

Qualifications

Required Experience

• Advanced Excel (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, and formulas)
• Experience with uploading data into an ERP platform
• Experience with creating SQL queries
• Ability to prioritize tasks, and work autonomously and within a team, on multiple initiatives in a lean, fast-paced, action-orientated environment.
