Schedule

Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30), Monday to Friday.

Assignment Details

Contract length is determined per assignment; weekend coverage required every other weekend.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience required.
• Certifications: ARDMS preferred, BLS, CCI RCS, RDCS.
• Experience with Epic charting system required.
• Preferred experience in teaching and community hospitals, as well as Trauma Level I and II.
• Specific skills preferred: 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Imaging with Contrast Agents, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Treadmill Stress Echo.
• Equipment familiarity: GE, Hitachi, PACS, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite, Toshiba.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms (2-D and 3-D) and other cardiac imaging procedures.
• Ensure accurate measurements and calculations, including Simpson's Rule and diastology assessments.
• Assist with pharmacologic stress tests and other advanced echocardiographic studies.
• Maintain quality assurance and patient safety protocols during imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to evaluate and interpret echocardiographic data.

Compliance / Notes

Full compliance is required to start on time; non-compliance may result in a delay of two weeks. A maximum of 7 days of requested time off is allowed. If one major holiday occurs during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it; two holidays requires working both, and three holidays requires working two of them.
