The Fatherhood Connector advances the mission of Agape Child & Family Services by providing direct service and support to fathers participating in the Becoming ONE program. Grounded in a Two-Generation (2Gen) approach, this role engages fathers through relationship-building, goal setting, and coordinated services that strengthen family stability, father involvement, and long-term well-being.Using a strengths-based, Hope-centered approach, the Fatherhood Connector supports participants in identifying goals, developing pathways, and building agency in alignment with the Science of Hope framework, while contributing to broader Human Flourishing outcomes across families and communities.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipant Engagement & Case ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for fathers from enrollment through program participation and follow-up.Conduct intake, assessments, and individualized goal planning with participantsProvide strength-based case management to support fathers in achieving personal and family goals.Maintain consistent engagement with participants, including follow-up and support services.Program ImplementationFacilitate approved curricula and group sessions related to fatherhood, relationships, and family stability.Support coordination of workshops, mentoring groups, and program events.Promote participant engagement in program activities and services.Data, Documentation & Quality ImprovementMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the case management system.Track participant progress, services, and outcomes in alignment with program requirements.Use data to inform service delivery and continuous improvement.Participate in Agape's Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) processes.Collaboration & PartnershipWork in partnership with internal teams and community partners to support participant needs.Represent Agape in community meetings and collaborative efforts as appropriate.Organizational Engagement & Professional ResponsibilitiesParticipate in staff meetings, professional development, and organizational learning opportunities.Maintain positive and productive relationships with colleagues, partners, and community stakeholders.Contribute to a workplace culture aligned with Agape's mission, core values, the Science of Hope framework, and Human Flourishing principlesPerform other duties within the general scope of this role as assigned by leadership.Core Competencies & AttributesMission-Driven: Demonstrates commitment to Agape's mission.Client Advocate: Supports individuals and families with empathy, respect, and a strengths-based approach.Relationship Builder: Establishes and maintains trusting, respectful relationships with participants, families, and community partners to support engagement and positive outcomes.Hope-Centered Practitioner: Applies the Science of Hope by supporting participants in setting meaningful goals, identifying pathways, and building the confidence to achieve those goals.Human Flourishing Advocate: Supports holistic well-being across key areas such as relationships, economic stability, health, and purpose, helping individuals and families move toward long-term stability.Culturally Responsive Practitioner: Engages participants with cultural humility, respect, and awareness, ensuring services are inclusive and responsive to diverse needs and experiences.Clear Communicator: Communicates effectively with participants, team members, and partners through active listening, clear messaging, and responsiveness.Accountability & Reliability: Demonstrates consistency, follow-through, and responsibility in meeting expectations, maintaining documentation, and supporting participant success.Integrity & Professionalism: Upholds ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional conduct in all interactions and responsibilities.Benefits & PerksWe care about our team's well-being and growth.
