Expanded Function Dental Assistant - Relief
Cherry Hill Free Clinic
Join our team as a relief Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) In this role, you will perform advanced clinical functions, support providers chairside, and maintain patient records. Responsibilities include conducting X-ray procedures, preparing instruments, providing preventative periodontal care, and assisting with orthodontics. You will also help implement infection control protocols and educate patients on oral hygiene. Proficiency with the EPIC EMR system is required, along with skills in sterilization and instrument handling. Additional duties may be assigned to support clinic operations. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Oregon EFDA certification within 90 days of employment Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire Bilingual skills (English/Spanish/Cantonese/Vietnamese) preferred Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and instruments Strong manual dexterity, professionalism, and computer skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Cherry Hill Free Clinic
