POSITION SUMMARY:
The Identity and Access Manager is an integral part of the Stony Brook Southampton IS team, reporting to the Director of IS. This position will also be part of the SBMIT IAM team, which supports the management of our Identity and Access Management solutions for Stony Brook Medicine, inclusive of four hospitals and numerous clinical and non‑clinical locations across Long Island. This position will have a focus on sites on the east end of Long Island. This role will assist in the provisioning of user accounts, terminations and changes. The qualified candidates will possess outstanding communication skills while adhering to our high standard of excellence. Multitasking skills are a must, the candidate must possess strong analytical skills. The successful candidate will be a team player with the ability to work independently, and must be flexible to a work schedule that will require after hours and weekend support at times.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creation and management of user accounts, home folders and network shares. Provide timely response and follow‑up for day‑to‑day Help Desk tickets and support issue. Active Directory account, group and OU maintenance. Maintain existing scripts and automated jobs. Provide support for account and access related issues. Provide support for remote access solutions. Maintain documentation and runbooks for the Identity Management department. License management and assignment for Office 365. Provision clinical application access. Ability to learn quickly and multitask in a fast paced work environment.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with Clinical User Access with but not limited to Cerner, Eclipsys and PACS preferred. Experience with Vendor remote access software preferred. Travel Requirements: As part of employment at Southampton Hospital, there may be occasions when travel to other locations is needed to support operational needs. Anticipated Pay Range: The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established based on relevant experience. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents SBSH’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Successfully complete a 4‑panel drug screen* Meet Regulatory Requirements for pre‑employment screenings. Provide a copy of any required New York State license(s)/certificate(s). Failure to comply with any of the above requirements could result in a delayed start date and/or revocation of the employment offer. *The hiring department will be responsible for any fee incurred for examination.
