Position Overview We seek a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to integrate into our expanding team of imaging experts committed to providing outstanding patient care. Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you will conduct crucial diagnostic procedures, collaborate with a team of leading healthcare professionals, and contribute to bringing comfort and clarity to patients through precise imaging. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a wide range of ultrasound evaluations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort during scans, clearly communicating each step with warmth and respect
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic imagery
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
- Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to function both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
