Sr. Supply Chain Manager — IXD S&OP Execution, Supply Chain Execution Team (L6)

Job DescriptionThe S&OP Execution Senior Supply Chain Manager owns the answer to: (1) did we execute the plan, (2) if not, why — and what do we do about it right now? This role is the single-threaded owner of Week 0 receipt execution for the IXD network, driving real-time operational decisions that directly impact backlog health, labor utilization, and downstream fulfillment speed.This is a high-visibility, high-autonomy role operating at the intersection of planning and operations. You will own the execution attribution framework — decomposing receipt misses into root causes (low work, density, hours, CPLH), identifying systemic patterns, and driving corrective action within shift. You will operate across Site Operations, IPEX Scheduling, ICT (Control Tower), PPT, and SCE Planning to close gaps between plan and actual performance across 50+ IXD fulfillment centers.The ideal candidate is a strong operator who thrives in ambiguity, can context-switch between strategic analysis and tactical firefighting within the same hour, and has the technical depth to self-serve complex data at scale. You will not wait for someone to hand you an answer — you will build the query, pull the data, identify the signal, and drive the action.Key job responsibilitiesIn this position, you will:Own WK0 execution for the IXD network: monitor receipt performance against locked plans, identify misses in real-time, and drive site-level and network-level corrective actionsBuild and maintain the weekly execution attribution bridge — decomposing variances into Low Work, Density, Hours, and CPLH buckets by region and flow type (NVF, NTI)Develop and operationalize severity-tiered response playbooks (S1–S4) with clear escalation paths, SLAs, and owner accountabilityPartner with IPEX Scheduling on assignment accuracy, arrival plan fidelity, and redirect/divert decisionsDrive daily and weekly business reviews with data-driven narratives for executive leadershipIdentify systemic execution patterns and translate them into mechanism improvements — not just one-off fixesBuild scalable reporting and automation to reduce manual data pulls and increase speed-to-insightManage cross-functional relationships with ICT, PPT, Site Ops, and Finance to align capacity decisions with execution realityA day in the lifeA day in the life:You start the morning reviewing overnight execution — which sites missed, why, and what's already in motion. You run your attribution queries, flag sites trending toward S1/S2 severity, and coordinate with ICT on redirect actions. Mid-morning you're authoring the flash narrative for leadership. Afternoon is spent partnering with Scheduling on next-day assignment alignment and working a deep-dive on a recurring density gap at a specific site cluster. You close the day with a clean handoff to the overnight team and a clear view of tomorrow's risk profile.This role requires comfort with ambiguity, speed of decision-making, and the ability to toggle between 50,000-foot network patterns and single-site operational details.About the teamAbout the team:The S&OP Execution team owns the first mile of W0 Execution— where the plan meets reality. We sit within NACF IXD+ under S&OP and are responsible for ensuring that what was planned actually gets executed, and when it doesn't, we know why within hours — not days. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
