We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician 2 to support our Speargun Program at our Oxnard, CA facility. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with engineers and production teams to support all manufacturing operations, from setup and calibration to rework, quality testing, and final assembly of parts, components, subassemblies, and complete systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all functions associated with manufacturing operations, including setup, calibration, rework, and quality testing of products, instruments, and equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers to conduct experiments, refine processes, and support production activities.
• Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data, making on-line adjustments as needed to maintain quality and performance.
• Assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S principles.

Basic Qualifications:

• Above-average experience and working knowledge of all basic mechanical hand tools, including wrenches, ratchets, sockets, hex bits, and measurement devices.
• Ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings.
• Above-average understanding of 5S principles specifically applied to a mechanical assembly environment.
• Above-average ability to work cohesively with team members in a mechanical assembly setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior professional experience working with aerospace components and/or assemblies in a cleanroom environment.
• Experience with the application of professional-grade adhesives, including two-part epoxies, mixing in fume hoods, and masking techniques.
• Workplace experience with computer-based training, computer-based timekeeping, and computer-based work instructions.
