Lead an Established Hospital Medicine Program in One of Iowa's Most Vibrant Communities

We are seeking an experienced Program Medical Director to provide clinical and operational leadership for a well-established hospital medicine team at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Become part of a highly collaborative and respected team of 14 physicians and 8 advanced practice providers . Our group plays an integral role in hospital-wide initiatives and enjoys strong relationships with nursing staff, specialists, and hospital leadership. • Blend of clinical practice and leadership responsibilities
• 8 clinical shifts per month
• 84 hours of protected administrative time monthly

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for a seasoned hospital medicine team
• Partner with hospital administration and leadership to achieve organizational goals
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient care outcomes
• Support provider engagement, mentorship, recruitment, and retention
• Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and clinical excellence

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital medicine leadership experience in an Associate Medical Director, Medical Director, or similar leadership role
• Strong communication, team-building, and operational leadership skills
