A leading Am Law firm is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal to join its Bankruptcy & Restructuring practice in Wilmington. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated Chapter 11 matters and gain exposure to complex, high-profile bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings in the District of Delaware.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of bankruptcy, restructuring, or creditors’ rights experience, strong knowledge of Chapter 11 proceedings, and experience with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Responsibilities

• Support attorneys on complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy and restructuring matters
• Prepare and file petitions, pleadings, motions, notices, schedules, and other court documents
• Manage case dockets, deadlines, hearings, and filing requirements
• Assist with claims administration, including proofs of claim and claim objections
• Maintain creditor, service, and mailing lists and coordinate service of pleadings
• Monitor PACER and Bankruptcy Court dockets and communicate updates to attorneys and clients
• Assist with discovery, document review, hearing preparation, and trial materials
• Communicate with clients, creditors, claims agents, opposing counsel, and other professionals
• Maintain organized electronic case files and matter documentation

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors’ rights, or related experience
• Strong understanding of Chapter 11 proceedings and bankruptcy procedures
• District of Delaware Bankruptcy Court experience strongly preferred
• Experience with CM/ECF and PACER
• Strong Microsoft Office and legal technology skills
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred
