Dental Assistant (with RDA)

Overview Castle Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is seeking a Part-Time Traveling Specialty Dental Assistant to support our specialty dental practices throughout the Houston area. This is a traveling position , with work locations changing based on the needs of our practices. The schedule and daily location may vary from week to week, and this role may require travel between practices throughout North and South Houston . The ideal candidate is an experienced Dental Assistant who is comfortable working in different practice environments and has experience supporting specialty dental procedures. Schedule (days/hours) Monday- Thursday Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance to specialty dentists during patient procedures. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for specialty procedures. Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and post-procedure instructions. Maintain proper infection control and sterilization protocols. Support the dental team in delivering a positive patient experience. Adapt quickly to different office locations, teams, providers, and daily schedules. Travel between Castle Dental locations throughout the Houston area based on business needs. Maintain a high level of professionalism, flexibility, and organization while working across multiple practices. Perform other duties as assigned to support the clinical team. Qualifications Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) CPR Previous dental assisting experience required. Perio or Oral Surgery experience strongly preferred. Endodontic or Orthodontic experience is a plus. Comfortable assisting with specialty procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and adapt to changing locations and daily priorities. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations throughout the Houston area. Ability to work a flexible, part-time schedule based on changing practice needs. The successful candidate will be someone who can quickly adapt to new teams, workflows, and patient needs while maintaining excellent clinical standards. Schedule Part-Time Work locations and daily needs will vary. This position requires travel throughout the Houston area, including North and South Houston , with locations changing based on weekly business needs.
