In this role you will be responsible for the accurate delivery of products as invoiced to licensed accounts or between company locations. This role will service customers by ensuring timely deliveries, accurate check-in, and storage of products. This position is a safety sensitive position that requires the employee to be able to perform job-related task without a direct threat to their safety or the safety of others.Our Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalency; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceOne year of driver experienceMust be 21 years of age or older for commercial motor vehicleValid CMV / CDL / Class A or B licenseMust be able to lift 40-50 lbs. for an extended periodYour ResponsibilitiesAlways drive equipment in a professional and safe mannerDeliver products as invoiced to specified licensed retailersCheck-in invoiced orders with customers in a friendly, courteous mannerCollect and return all payments as requiredAccount for all invoices of merchandise delivered and merchandise returnedComplete appropriate paperwork throughout the delivery processEnsure truck check-in procedures are followed dailyEnsure truck service and safety issues are reported dailyMaintain an accurate DOT logbook, if requiredMust always follow DOT RegulationsAttend monthly safety meetingsAttend required safety courses and other classes as neededReport any local, state, or federal moving violations to managementPerform other job-related duties as assignedSafety RequirementAble to perform job-related task without hindering the safety of employee or othersGlazer's Beer & Beverage is committed to maintaining safe operations on our hometown roadways by ensuring that our driving employees are qualified to safely operate our vehicles while conducting business.As the Distributor of Choice, Glazer's Beer and Beverage embraces a culture where diversity drives innovative solutions for the success of our employees, retailers, and supplier partners.
