Shift Manager

Description This position is for a Shift Manager in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald’s branding. The franchisee is the sole employer and is responsible for all employment matters. Shift Managers lead weekly shifts, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers, maintain quality, service, and cleanliness, monitor performance, and work with the next Shift Manager to maintain seamless operations. Responsibilities Plan and execute each shift Monitor performance during the shift Ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards and company goals Maintain food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance and cleanliness, crew management, quality food production, exceptional customer service, safety and security, scheduling, and training Qualifications Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment Positive team player with flexible schedule Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in these corporate‑owned restaurants Pay & Availability Pay depends on availability and field knowledge. Certified Shift Managers earn higher pay. Flexible shifts are available to work part‑time or full‑time.
