With 204-beds, it is the third largest of the four Duke Health hospitals and offers a comprehensive array of services, including cancer, cardiovascular, neuroscience, advanced gastrointestinal, and wound healing care.Location: Duke Raleigh, a Campus of Duke University HospitalWorking hours: 7:30am-4:00pmOccupational Summary: The pharmacy manager serves as a key member of the pharmacy leadership team. This person will coordinate and collaborate with all levels of representatives across multiple departments to drive organizational and departmental goals related to operations, cost savings, process improvement, standardization and compliance.Work Performed:Supervise and coordinate pharmaceutical care responsibilities. Plan and schedule work for the practice area. Manage staff development activities. Participate in the recruiting and selection of staff. Ensure compliance with all regulatory practice standards. Maintain interface with medical and nursing staff to provide regular information. Evaluate staff compliance with department policy.
