Global Sourcing ManagerThe Global Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for Pfister finished goods and key components, with a focus on cost competitiveness, supply continuity, quality stability, tariff and other risk mitigation, and other aspects of supplier performance.This role serves as a commercial and strategic owner of assigned supplier and category accounts, supporting New Product Introductions, resourcing initiatives, COO transitions, value engineering and innovation efforts. The position requires strong ownership, analytical rigor, and the ability to lead cross-functional decision-making without direct authority.The Global Sourcing Manager is accountable for delivering measurable results aligned with Pfister's operational excellence objectives for Cost, Service, Quality, Risk, and Working Capital.Primary Duties and Responsibilities(20%) Global Sourcing & Supplier Management Own and manage strategic supplier relationships, serving as the primary interface for commercial, capacity, and performance topicsSegment suppliers and develop tailored strategies addressing cost, risk, capability, and long-term alignmentLead supplier business reviews and drive corrective actions to improve delivery, quality, responsiveness, and cost competitivenessSelect, develop, and evolve suppliers into strategic partners that bring value and innovation(20%) Cost, Commercial & Contract Ownership Deliver year-over-year productivity through cost-based negotiations, VA/VE, and should-cost modelingNegotiate, execute, and administer key commercial agreements (CMAs, Supply & Pricing, VMI, Consignment, Licensing, Exclusivity, Rebate)Manage raw material, labor, currency, and overhead cost drivers across the product portfolio(15%) Tariff, Risk & Global Sourcing Strategy Manage tariff exposure (IEEPA, Section 301, etc.) through pricing, mitigation, and sourcing shiftsEngage internal and external legal resources as well as other key stakeholders to propose and execute risk mitigation strategiesLead country-of-origin diversification and localization strategiesPartner cross-functionally to ensure compliance, audit readiness, and documentation integrity(15%) Sourcing Execution & Program Leadership Lead sourcing for NPI, resourcing, dual-sourcing, and supplier transitionsConduct RFQs/RFPs, competitive bidding, and make-vs-buy analysesPartner with Engineering and Quality on supplier readiness and launch risk(10%) Supply Performance & Working Capital Drive supplier performance to support fill rate, service, and continuity of supplyMonitor supplier scorecards and performance metricsSupport inventory optimization and working capital reductionLead warranty, RTV, and cost recovery efforts(15%) Leadership & Cross-Functional Influence Lead, mentor, and develop global sourcing team members; set priorities and remove barriersServe as sourcing lead on strategic initiativesPresent recommendations and risk assessments to senior leadershipInfluence cross-functional partners through data-driven insights(5%) Systems, Data & Process Discipline Maintain sourcing data, cost models, and ERP/system accuracyEnsure pricing changes and decisions are documented and auditableDrive continuous improvement of sourcing processesAdditional Scope (Travel & Planning) (Included Across Above)Travel up to ~15% (Southeast Asia & North America)Support annual operating plan, budgeting, and strategic planning cyclesEducation and Experience ProfileBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience) required.7+ years of experience in global sourcing/procurement, supplier management, commodity management, supply chain, and/or manufacturing operations experience in a manufacturing environment with a Fortune 500 company. Plumbing, fixtures, or consumer durable goods industry experience a plus.Demonstrated success in supplier negotiation, cost savings, and contract management.Former managerial experience with proven team leadership/management skills, and project leadership experience required.Strong understanding of sourcing best practices and strategic procurement processes. Strong analytical, financial, and cost modeling skills.Strong understanding of sourcing best practices and strategic procurement processes. Experience managing Asia-based suppliers strongly preferred.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multiple priorities.Required SkillsStrong understanding of global supply markets, cost drivers, and sourcing economics. Ability to anticipate risk and proactively develop mitigation strategies.Excellent communication skills, both oral and writtenIntermediate to advanced level presentation and spreadsheet skills.Proven ability to lead through influence and operate independently.Strong business acumen and judgement.Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.Certified Purchasing Manager [CPM] Certification desirable.Working conditions are normal for an office environment.Hybrid schedule: onsite Tuesday–Thursday, remote Monday and Friday.Pay Range: $108,528 to $170,545.This "base salary range" is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
