Assistant Professor

The Department of International Affairs (IA) at the University of Georgia invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin in the fall of 2027. We seek a scholar who is trained in the concepts, methods, and approaches used in the study of comparative politics. The University of Georgia supports a culture of active learning in which students are active participants in the classroom and instructors utilize instructional practices that purposefully engage all students in the learning process.

To complete the application, candidates will need to submit a cover letter indicating interest and qualifications, a current curriculum vita, a statement describing their research interests and research agenda, a writing sample, teaching evaluations demonstrating excellence in instruction, unofficial transcripts, and three letters of recommendation.
