Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable Fueler to support the Maintenance Department at a busy industrial facility in Tulsa. This position is responsible for fueling equipment, maintaining proper fluid levels, and assisting with basic maintenance support to ensure equipment remains safe, operational, and ready for production.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and takes pride in keeping equipment operating at peak performance.

Required Experience & Skills
• Previous equipment fueling or maintenance support experience preferred
• Knowledge of fuel, oil, hydraulic fluid, coolant, and DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Safely fuel and maintain equipment fluid levels, including:

• Diesel fuel
• DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid)
• Engine oil
• Hydraulic fluid
• Radiator coolant and other operating fluids

• Monitor equipment for leaks, low fluid levels, or maintenance concerns and report issues promptly
• Follow all company fueling procedures and safety standards when handling fuels and lubricants
• Maintain clean, organized fueling stations, tools, and maintenance areas
• Assist the Maintenance Department with basic service and support tasks as needed
• Help ensure equipment is properly serviced and ready for daily operation
• Follow all company safety procedures and environmental guidelines

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience working around heavy equipment or fleet vehicles
• Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of preventive maintenance practices
• Experience in industrial, construction, transportation, or manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of safe fuel handling procedures

Physical Requirements
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
• Comfortable working outdoors and around heavy equipment in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely handle fuels, lubricants, and maintenance supplies while wearing required PPE

• Exposure to heavy equipment, fuels, lubricants, hydraulic fluids, and varying weather conditions
