Production Operator

Join a dynamic team as a Production Operator where your attention to detail and skills in measurement will be crucial. This role involves checking metal parts to ensure the holes drilled are the correct size and distance from the part's end using a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Inspect metal parts to ensure drilled holes are the correct size and distance using a tape measure.
• Perform quality control checks and visual inspections of parts.
• Engage in general production duties including assembly, packaging, and machine operation.
• Use hand tools and power tools as required.
• Operate forklifts and other machinery as needed.
• Assist in various departments as required, including manual machining.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and understand fractions on a tape measure.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in production, general labor, and quality control.
• Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and blueprints.
• Capability to perform visual inspections and operate machinery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with inspection, assembly, and packaging.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Forklift operation experience.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate-controlled facility that can get hot in the summer. The team is friendly and welcoming. Steel-toed shoes are required, and you may have the chance to work across three different buildings, primarily in the main building. The hours vary by department with competitive pay rates for second and third shifts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
