Mammography Technologist

Responsibilities As a Mammography Technologist, you will join a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders—patients, providers, payors, and regulators—to achieve the best clinical outcomes. Schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm, 8:30 am–5:00 pm or 9:00 am–5:30 pm, with a monthly Saturday rotation. You Will Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other devices with adherence to established policies and protocols. Produce high‑quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care. Understand and use compression, exposure modes, filter, KvP, Mas, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, photo‑cell selection and other adjustments and factors on the equipment to produce high‑quality images. Monitor patients’ well‑being during exams; recognize discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action. Guide patients through the process by kindly explaining steps and answering questions and concerns. Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients. Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information. Safeguard on‑site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures and legal requirements. Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals. Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers. Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions. Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting. Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships. Thriving in a fast‑paced environment, prioritizing work with a structured approach, and enjoying solving complex problems. To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have ARRT(R)(M) certification.
