REFRIGERATION TECHNICAL SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

Direct Hire

Monday - Friday

8:00 am - 5:00 pm

$45k - $65k per year

JOB SUMMARY

As a Technical Support Technician, you’ll play a key role in supporting customers and field technicians by troubleshooting issues, providing expert guidance, and helping ensure our products perform at the highest level.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Provide technical support by answering inbound calls and assisting with troubleshooting and diagnostics
Assist customers and technicians with installation and start-up questions
Investigate service issues and recommend effective corrective actions
Process and approve warranty claims in accordance with company guidelines
Coordinate field service calls with authorized service providers
Review and track warranty and service data to identify trends
Recommend product improvements based on service feedback and data analysis
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance products and processes

JOB REQUIREMENTS

5–7 years of experience in the refrigeration or HVAC industry
HVACR certification or license preferred
Strong customer service skills with a professional phone presence
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to analyze problems and provide practical solutions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Experience with ERP systems (such as M1, Oracle, or Syteline) is a plus
Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites for field support
