As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $18.22 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation in accordance with established site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through designated reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observed incidents, access issues, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
