Uses unique knowledge regarding extracorporeal circulation to plan, deliver, and evaluate individualized care for neonatal and pediatric patients. Invests time and energy in developing self and others through teaching, coaching, and role modeling. Develops and documents patient-focused short and long-term goals that are functional and measurable. Identifies the need for and refers patients and families to other services as needed. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Sound clinical judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Ability to make decisions ethically and act as a patient advocate. Understanding of ECMO equipment, products, and systems. Adept at initiating and administering complex therapeutic interventions. Ability to be accountable and committed to quality and safety. Education Associate's of Nursing [Required] Master's of Nursing [Preferred] Field Of Study N/A Work Experience 2+ experience as an RN, RRT, Ecmo specialist or coordinator, Nurse Practitioner or physician assistant in an acute-care setting within the last five years [Required] Current valid State of Florida or multi state license as a Registered Nurse or Registered Respiratory Therapist [Required] Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
