Needs to be US citizen or green card local to Atlanta. Role is contract to hire. Rate is market (within reason). Client needs a SME to build out this high traffic solution Location, Smyrna GA

Projects

• Supplier Information Exchange:
  • Build API Hub that is accessed by suppliers.
  • Suppliers can subscribe to feeds and access various data (Oracle Service Bus)
  • Requires somebody who has designed and built in the past
  • Life after launch is an important consideration
• Cloud migration and other backlogs
  • eRNDC (newly released OMS for the company)
  • ERP (Oracle implementation)

Skills

• Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
• API Blueprint and Swagger
• SOAP & REST API Gateway
• Experience with access controls (restrict, limit etc.) Authenticate API calls
• Routing traffic for API calls (Runaway process)
• Full understanding of SDLC
• SOA, Oracle Service Bus
• Terraform (IAC) nice to have

Responsibilities

• Intermediate to high Linux and SysAdmin Skills
• Prior hands-on experience in API management platforms, such as Red Hat 3scale API Gateway and API related activities such as: requirement analysis, solution architecture and design, building API policies.
• Prior experience with creating and maintaining design documentation including use cases and sequence diagrams.
• Provide routine administration including patching, deploying software, implementing changes, and server configuration.
• In-depth knowledge of JSON, JWT, WSDL, and JWKS and their underlying specifications.
• In-depth knowledge of the various OAuth Grant Flows.
• Advise technical teams on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring and other operational concerns of integration solutions on Cloud Platform
• Ensures self and development team adheres to documented design and development patterns and standards
• Supports the integration environment and solutions, including off-hours support of business-critical integration solutions
• Develops and maintains Enterprise Integration Solution Architecture including SOA, API, and OIC concepts and capabilities
• Provides mentoring on advanced development concepts and technical capabilities to developers.
• Works closely with other Technical Leadership, Solution Architects/Designers to ensure consistency and quality of solutions and knowledge sharing
• Provides Continuous improvement and exploration of industry standards and technology advances.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding and practice of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Working knowledge of SVN version control
• Provide and develop processes for administration and security
• Write and maintain documentation describing changes and modifications to all systems and code bases
• Gathers, understands and clarifies complex business requirements

Experience

• Experience in developing and delivering integration and data migration projects
• Experience in developing, deploying and managing flows using Oracle Cloud Platform and OIC.
• Experience with message queue design patterns
• Experience integrating with Cloud/SaaS applications, APIs, SDK of packaged applications and legacy applications
• Experience designing, developing, securing and managing APIs via API Gateways and proxies
• Experience with relational database technologies (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience working with RESTful and SOAP APIs
• Familiar with using REST API to integrate API Gateway with other processes (Axiomatics PDP, TEWS, etc.).
• Deep knowledge of with microservices architecture and API Strategy development
• Deep experience with Flow Design, API Design, development and API Management
• Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects
• Historical experience with the ESB stacks such as MuleSoft, TIBCO, Oracle Fusion, Dell Boomi, Jitterbit, Informatica

Additional Considerations:

• Demonstrates solid understanding of ETL/ELT patterns, functional programming, and data partitioning
• Apply advanced database administration, management and performance tuning
• Familiar with using the Gateway Migration Utility to create and update bundles between gateways.
• Experience authoring data pipelines (e.g. with Apache Airflow, or Pentaho, or Informatica, or your own work and project)
