Role Overview We are seeking a motivated Janitor to perform routine cleaning and sanitation for the facility. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness of floors, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to supporting production by working in a safe, customer-focused manner. Job # 3048949 Job Description Janitor Location: Wink, Texas (Onsite) Key Responsibilities Performing routine cleaning and sanitation of the facility, including floors, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors throughout the distribution center. Emptying trash and recycling bins and transporting waste to disposal areas. Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including restocking supplies. Maintaining cleanliness of warehouse racking, conveyor areas, and workstations. Performing minor building repairs and improvements as directed. Assisting with basic infrastructure upkeep and facility maintenance tasks. Supporting preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures. Tracking and restocking cleaning supplies and department inventory. Reporting safety hazards, facility damage, or equipment malfunctions to management. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the department and DC. Performing seasonal outdoor maintenance. Required Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Experience operating cleaning equipment such as buffers, floor scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners. Skills Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper handling, and safety procedures. Ability to follow safety regulations and facility protocols. Basic understanding of building maintenance and repair. Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of janitorial or custodial experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or industrial environment. Ability to multi-task and prioritize many different projects and workload. Ability to work successfully with little supervision. Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) with peers, management, contractors, and vendors. Familiarity with preventative maintenance documentation and procedures. Work Environment This role requires repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking. The position involves lifting parts and tools weighing on average 20 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours, and wet or uneven surfaces.
