Software Development Manager, Network Conrol Plane

As a leader in this team, you will dive deep to understand Amazon's network architecture and partner with our routing protocol communities, network engineering, peer software teams and other AWS service teams to develop and operate the control plane software that powers Amazon's network device platforms. You will own the software quality and speed of delivery of all new solutions and identify opportunities to invent and simplify the systems used throughout the AWS network.We are looking for a software leader to lead a team of engineers to realize our vision of delivering and owning the world's fastest and most reliable network. The successful candidate is expected to be a technical manager who can deliver through a high performing engineering team and who understands and sets a high bar for all parts of the software development, deployment, and operational life cycle including: design, development, documentation, testing and operations. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
