Job Overview At Manheim (a Cox Automotive company), we are looking for a vehicle technician who loves cars and is willing to get hands‑dirty working on a variety of vehicles. As an Auto Maintenance Tech I, you will start as an intermediate‑level auto tech and develop your skills in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices. Perform auto maintenance duties, including oil and filter change, fuel filter change, transmission flush, spark plug changes and vehicle inspection. Perform battery testing, maintenance and replacement, as well as repair of starting and charging electrical systems. Carry out a range of repairs including tire service, safety inspections and interior/exterior component repairs. Diagnose and repair brake systems, steering and suspension systems. Perform an evacuation and recharge of the AC system. Maintain equipment and utilize approved vendors to obtain parts. Fit new vehicles with necessary equipment when required. Comply with procedures and regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires and disposable trash. Qualifications 1 or more years of related work experience. Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles; safe driver with a valid driver’s license. High school diploma or GED (preferred). Current ASE certifications: G1, A4, A5 status when required by leadership. Must pass a pre‑employment drug test. Benefits Hourly base pay $22.07 – $33.13/hour.
