Class A CDL Driver - Deliveries (Flatbed) Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Driver to support regional material deliveries and yard operations. This role involves operating a variety of vehicles including semi trucks, flatbeds while ensuring safe and efficient transport of materials between job sites, fabrication facilities, and yard locations. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for consistent hours, home daily routes, and long-term stability . Key Responsibilities
- Perform local and regional deliveries with a home-daily schedule
- Transport materials between:
- Job sites
- Fabrication shop
- Yard locations (including low-speed yard operations ~30 mph)
- Operate equipment including:
- Semi trucks
- Flatbed trailers
- Peterbilt trucks
- Yard jockey / rider power units
- Secure loads using chains, straps, and wood supports
- Ensure all shipments are safe, compliant, and properly secured in accordance with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with material handlers (who typically load trucks)
- Assist with unloading, often supported by crane operations
- Flatbed trailers
- Semi trucks (including Peterbilt)
- Yard jockey vehicles for on-site transport
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Must meet DOT compliance standards
- Experience with flatbed hauling preferred
- Ability to properly secure loads using chains and straps
- Strong attention to safety and detail
