Fire Detection Inspector

What you will do Conduct routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on electrical fire alarm life safety product lines and similar competitive manufacturers’ product lines. Test and inspect fire alarm systems with existing and new customer base. Maintain proper documentation for work performed using tools provided. Adhere to company safety policies and procedures. Follow verbal and written instructions. Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs. Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment. Work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer needs. Perform all duties in a safe and professional manner and maintain a clean and safe work area. Qualifications Self‑starter who can work with little or no supervision. Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly. Physical capability to perform labor required by the role. Excellent communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with good driving record. Ability to work well with others. Obtain NICET LevelI certification within 1 year of employment. Basic computer skills – Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook – and smartphone skills. Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate: $17.36 – $23.84 (based on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; internal equity and market alignment).
