Senior Solutions Architect

Job Title: Senior Solutions Architect. Rate: Please keep the rates as low as possible, Albany Locals as first choice - Highly preferred. Duration: 12+ months - Long term Location: Albany, NY - Hybrid: 50% onsite required. Must be located in New York State. In addition, onsite at client’s request (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, Meetings with Executives or Business that can’t be accomplished remotely, and emergencies). Job Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Sciences, Engineering, or technical background preferred. 10 years of relevant experience. PeopleSoft implementation experience. Ability to identify technical options and implementation strategies for requirements not efficiently delivered by PeopleSoft configurations. Job Duties Participate in finalizing business requirements to develop a firm understanding of the needs. Participate in finalizing functional and technical requirements. Document legacy system architecture, as needed. Develop strategies to enhance the interoperability of the existing PeopleSoft systems to increase data reliability, streamline workflows, and eliminate duplicate data entry. Develop technical solutions to deliver existing and new functionality while reducing the number and complexity of PeopleSoft customizations. Develop technical solutions to meet business needs not effectively and efficiently delivered by PeopleSoft. Participate in prototype and proof of concept exercises. Identify opportunities to streamline the number and complexity of interfaces to PeopleSoft and other applications. Document the to-be architecture, taking into consideration state shared services, enterprise standards, and security requirements. Participate in the development of project, workstream, and sprint planning to sequence the delivery of system enhancements and new functionality to ITS business owners. Develop artifacts required to support software development life cycle standards. Develop analyses and other products to support program governance and project management efforts. Able to work with the reports and presentations on technical analyses and recommendations. Able to create Reports and presentations on prototype and proof of concept exercises. Able to develop Software development lifecycle (SDLC) artifacts to industry and State standards.
