Senior Project ManagerKimley-Horn of DC has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand our Roadway practice in Washington, DC!Responsibilities:Expand our practice and presence in the local market focused on roadway, highway and/or municipal projectsThis position is responsible for complex engineering design tasks as well as marketing, client engagement, and the growth of the roadway design practice in local and/or surrounding marketsManaging the design and delivery of projects profitably while being actively involved in design issuesLeadership responsibilities include:Operating with integrity and sound business principlesProviding vision, business planning and strategyEstablishing goalsBuilding and maintaining positive client relationshipsHaving open communication with your partners and teamGrowing and leading a roadway practiceOur Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentorThe successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their businessWith success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of an impressive bonus program with the potential to advance to ownershipQualifications:12+ years of relevant experience managing roadway projectsRegistered Professional Engineer (P.E.) licenseExperience successfully winning and delivering work in the local and/or surrounding areasKnowledge and experience with the full life cycle of roadway projectsExperience and relationships with local agencies and/or local municipalitiesKnowledge in the civil design of local roadways, urban freeways and/or interchangesDemonstrated ability to manage roadway projects profitably, while leading a team and collaborating key stakeholdersExperience writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected workSalary Range: 150K-225K
