Sr Network Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Sr Network Engineer to support and strengthen a hybrid enterprise infrastructure in Concord, California. This role focuses on designing, optimizing, and securing network environments that enable dependable connectivity, protected data exchange, and stable day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth across cloud and on-premises platforms, a practical troubleshooting mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Responsibilities:• Design, maintain, and enhance network infrastructure across routing, switching, wireless connectivity, firewall platforms, VPN services, and hybrid Azure-integrated environments.• Develop and uphold network architecture standards, technical documentation, and long-term infrastructure plans that improve performance, segmentation, and security.• Administer and support a hybrid Microsoft ecosystem, including cloud and on-premises services, to ensure reliable access and operational continuity.• Manage the Hyper-V environment and related infrastructure components to maintain availability, scalability, and system efficiency.• Investigate and resolve complex network and connectivity issues, serving as an escalation point for advanced incidents and selected help desk matters.• Oversee backup operations for critical systems and verify that recovery processes align with business continuity needs.• Partner with IT leadership and security stakeholders to implement preventive safeguards and contribute to incident response efforts.• Provide technical guidance to end users and entry-level team members while promoting strong service standards and timely issue resolution.• Monitor industry developments, evaluate emerging technologies, and recommend improvements that strengthen the overall network environment.• Travel occasionally to support offices or operational needs as required.
