Registered Nurse (RN) - Perioperative - $40-60 per hour

Job Overview UW Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Perioperative for a nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin. Specialty: Perioperative Discipline: RN Duration: Ongoing Employment Type: Staff Schedule 90% FTE, 12‑hour day/evening shift every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 7:00am – 7:30pm. No on‑call duties, but holidays that fall on a weekend will be worked. Hours may vary based on departmental needs. Compensation Details: Shift differentials: $4 per hour evening, $10 per hour weekender Overtime available Responsibilities Communicate and coordinate operating room activities to facilitate efficient surgical case progression and turnover between cases. Implement safe, competent, and efficient patient care within policies, procedures, standards, and care plans for perioperative patients of any complexity. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. At least 6 months of recent independent PACU, Emergency Department, Surgical Critical Care, Surgical ICU, Operating Room, or Surgical IMC experience. At least 3 years of recent operating room or PACU experience. Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients receive care or eligible per state licensing regulations (required upon hire). Basic Life Support/CPR certification (required upon hire).
