Controls Technician

We are seeking a hands-on BMS / EPMS Technician to support data center and other mission-critical projects across the United States. The role will focus on the installation checkout, start-up, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of building management systems (BMS) and electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS). Key Responsibilities: Carry out checkout, start-up and testing of BMS DDC controllers and EPMS graphics. Assist with functional testing and integrated systems testing of mechanical, electrical and controls systems. Troubleshoot BMS, EPMS and third-party system integrations. Work with BACnet, Modbus and computer networking systems. Complete MOPs, change management forms, daily reports and project documentation. Coordinate with project leads, customers and other contractors on site. Perform maintenance and service work within live data center environments, following strict safety and security procedures. Requirements: Three years of hands-on automation / controls field experience, or a relevant two-year degree or apprenticeship with equivalent experience. Practical understanding of BMS, EPMS, mechanical and electrical systems. Experience with BACnet, Modbus and systems integration is preferred. Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail and good communication. Ability to work independently and support multiple projects. Willingness to travel across the US approximately 50% of the time. #J-18808-Ljbffr
