Serving onsite from August through May, you’ll provide dedicated 1:1 care to a student, collaborating with educators and families while expanding your skillset and résumé. Exposure to diverse workplace practices and approaches to student-centered care will help you develop as a nursing professional and leader.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current, valid, and unrestricted Arizona RN or LPN license (or multistate privilege from a compact state)
• Current CPR certification
• Active IVP fingerprint card
• Previous school nursing experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 nursing care to a student in a school setting
• Monitor, assess, and respond to the student’s health needs throughout the school day
• Coordinate care plans in collaboration with educational teams and families
• Administer medication and perform medical procedures as needed
• Keep thorough and timely student health records
• Support a safe and healthy learning environment
