Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging exams with attention to patient positioning, protocol adherence, and image quality standards.
- Verify orders in the EPIC electronic medical record and document procedures accurately.
- Prepare patients for imaging, administer IV contrast or initiate IVs as needed, and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Scan trauma patients independently when required, and coordinate with radiologists to obtain diagnostic images.
- Maintain radiation safety, infection control, and patient privacy; assist with throughput and scene safety during busy procedures.
- Collaborate with nurses, radiologists, and other staff to ensure timely, high-quality imaging and patient care.

Requirements
- ARRT CT certification is required; ARRT verification to be provided.
- VT state license: must apply for VT license at time of offer.
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required (nonnegotiable).
- Must be able to start peripheral IVs (PIVs) for contrast administration.
- Phillips experience is preferred.
- Experience in a similar-sized teaching facility is preferred.
- Must be able to scan traumas independently.

Education
- ARRT CT certification (verification to be provided)
- Basic life support (BLS) certification

Certifications: ARRT CT, BLS
Experience: Prior CT imaging in a teaching facility; trauma imaging experience preferred
Licenses: VT license application at time of offer; EPIC experience within last 2 years
