Receiving ClerkPay rate: $20.00/hour- $21.00/hour Hours: 7:00am- 3:30pm Location: Norcross, GA Duration: 2 monthsPOSITION SUMMARYA Receiving Clerk who can assist with unloading delivery trucks and compare received products to packing lists to confirm that all products/material were delivered. Inspect and report materials as they are received in. A great eye for details and basic math skills. Have adequate physical strength to unload deliveries as well as the clerical skills to update records. Responsible for unpacking, verifying and keeping detailed records of the delivery along with their contents, while ensuring a hazard free work environment by utilizing the highest OSHA safety standards.ESSENTIAL DUTIESUnload product/material from incoming trucksCommunicates with Receiving Lead on all incoming deliveriesInbound shipments and sign paperwork upon receiptInspect product/material to guarantee they are undamagedReport any quality issues or equipment defect to direct supervisor or leadLabel deliveries and allocate them to their designated placeMaintain accurate records and assist in inventory controlAbide by safety regulations while utilizing personnel protective equipment at all timesMaintain housekeeping of receiving department to ensure a clean, orderly and hazard free environmentPerforms other related duties as assignedMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREDHigh School Diploma or GED requiredOne to three years of experience in manufacturing / production of warehouse / distributionDemonstrates knowledge relating to receivingAbility to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a dynamic environment according to plant and company objectivesMust be flexible and the ability to adopt to changes in the work environmentDisposes of scrap material properly, and recycle used cardboardPossess current Forklift driver certificationCapable of reading and reviewing Packing Slips/Bills of LandingPREFERRED OR DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSFamiliar with safety standards for manufacturing environment, including OSHA regulationsFamiliar with Infor LN systemLicense and certification to operate heavy machinery, such as ForkliftWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDSPhysical Demands:Lifting and stacking cartons weighing up to 50 poundsWalking on concrete floor, standing for long periods of time, sitting while operating forklift, and the input of dateExposure to ambient temperaturesBenefits: (employee contribution) Health insurance Health savings account Dental insurance Vision insurance Flexible spending accounts Life insurance Retirement planAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
