What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

As a Crew Leader, you own the job from morning rollout to final site walkthrough:

• Lead & Execute: Direct and work alongside a dedicated 2-to-4 person crew to complete commercial turf care, precision pruning, bed maintenance, and seasonal site upgrades.
• Manage the Numbers: Drive job profitability by managing daily budgeted labor hours, eliminating site waste, and pacing your team for maximum efficiency.
• Digital Operations: Utilize field tablets and BOSS software to manage schedules, log real-time job notes, upload site photos, and track property issue tickets.
• Train & Coach: Mentor and "skill up" crew members on proper equipment operation, safety standards, and horticultural best practices.
• Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure site standards match client expectations while maintaining zero-compromise safety standards and well-maintained equipment.
• Proactive Communication: Identify on-site irrigation or plant health issues and log potential upsell opportunities for supervisors.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

• Leadership Experience: 2+ years of proven success leading a commercial landscape maintenance crew.
• Bilingual Preferred: Fluency in both Spanish and English is highly valued and includes an immediate bonus pay premium .
• Tech Savvy: Comfortable using mobile tablets, digital apps, and field routing software (BOSS/Aspire).
• Horticultural & Equipment Mastery: Deep knowledge of commercial turf, plant care, irrigation basics, and commercial mower/power equipment operation[cite: 1, 3].
• Work Ethic & Professionalism: Hands-on leader who leads by example, maintains a clean truck/site, and holds the line on quality.
• Driver Requirements: Valid Driver’s License with a clean, insurable driving record.
