B-Level Automotive Technician

Location: Watseka, IL

Pay: $30+/Hour Depending on Experience

Are you an experienced Automotive Technician looking for a shop where your skills are valued and your career can continue to grow? We are seeking a skilled B-Level Technician to join a reputable automotive service team in Watseka. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can confidently diagnose and repair most vehicle systems while continuing to expand their knowledge and advance toward Master Technician status.

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose and repair drivability, electrical, brake, suspension, steering, and engine performance issues
• Perform preventative maintenance and manufacturer-recommended services
• Conduct vehicle inspections and accurately document repair needs
• Utilize diagnostic scanners and testing equipment to identify vehicle concerns
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Perform engine, transmission, cooling system, suspension, and drivetrain repairs
• Communicate repair recommendations and findings with service advisors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices

What We're Looking For:

• Previous Automotive Technician experience required
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to perform repairs independently with minimal supervision
• Experience with electrical systems and vehicle computer diagnostics
• Knowledge of brake, steering, suspension, engine, and drivetrain systems
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to use diagnostic scanners and repair software
• Own tools required
• ASE Certifications preferred but not required

Schedule:

1st Shift
Monday - Friday
Occasional overtime available
