Tire Modeling Engineer, Vehicle Dynamics Modeling

What to Expect As part of the testing side of the Vehicle Dynamics Modelling Team, the role is responsible for the collection, processing, and management of objective tire performance data for attribute development and improving tire models. You'll have the opportunity to travel to proving grounds for high and low mu testing and develop models that correlate to the collected data. You'll be expected to work with tire suppliers and engineers across several teams at Tesla, including vehicle dynamics, chassis, controls, autopilot, and more. This is a hands‑on role requiring a high level of self‑direction, proven ability and flexibility.
