Service Advisor Job Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
• Drive the sale of technicians' time to meet the department's goals
• Prioritize recommended services and present options clearly
• Keep customers informed on repair timelines, costs, and updates
• Maintain consistent communication between customers and technicians
• Deliver a positive, seamless dealership experience from start to finish

Service Advisor Compensation and Benefits

The Service Advisor position is paid on a pay scale that may include one or more of the following compensation elements:

• Hourly compensation, which varies based on experience, role level, and performance
• Commission compensation, which may be earned based on closed service sales
• Production?based incentive compensation, which may be based on individual and/or team performance

The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is $16.90 to $77.00 per hour. Actual compensation within this range will be determined by job?related factors such as skills, experience, performance, and business needs. Commission and incentive compensation are not guaranteed and may be zero if applicable benchmarks are not met.

Qualifications

Service Advisor Qualifications

• Prior service advisor or automotive customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and follow?up skills
• Sales?oriented mindset with a focus on ethical recommendations
• Ability to multitask in a fast?paced, high?volume environment
• Comfortable using dealership DMS and related software
• Professional, customer?focused approach

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
