As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. We are open to candidates from the Houston, TX, Boise, ID, or Reno/Las Vegas/Elko, NV areas.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelops comprehensive project plans outlining project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelinesCoordinates resources, both internal and external, to ensure smooth project executionConducts regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standardsPrepares and manages project budgets, ensuring cost control measures are in placeTracks project expenses and reviews invoices and payments to subcontractors and suppliersServes as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycleManages client expectations and resolves any issues or concerns in a timely mannerFosters a collaborative working environment and promotes teamwork among project stakeholdersEnsures compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standardsImplements quality assurance processes to deliver projects that exceed client expectationsIdentifies potential risks and develops mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptionsProactively addresses any issues that may impact project timelines or budgetRequired Qualifications/Education/Work ExperienceBachelor's degree, or 5 years of related experiencePMP certification is a plus5-10 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in a related fieldExcellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicateStrong customer service focus and ability to converse with building and construction site managersKnowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and safety standardsDemonstrated ability to adapt to changes and work at a fast pace in peak timesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectivelyProficiency in project management software and toolsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuitePhysical DemandsGenerally, the position is sedentary and will require the ability to sit for extended periods of time; use hands and fingers to type; provide verbal communicationAbility to speak/hear and use specific vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focusFrequent ability to reach with arms, grasp with hands and armsPosition may require the occasional need to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb or balanceWork EnvironmentWork is conducted primarily indoors in a controlled office environment; noise level is usually low.Work environment could involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises.Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which will require the following basic safety precautions and the ability to wear assigned and appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).Position may require that the employee work long hours, up to twelve (12) hours per day.At ATCO, we believe in strengthening the communities where we work & live.
