ISP Junior Administrative Assistant

Koniag Professional Services, LLC a Koniag Government Services company , is seeking an ISP Junior Administrative Assistant with a Secret security clearance to support KPS and our government customer in Arlington, VA.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

Scope:

To provide professional services to support the reporting and compliance of inspections of Department and USAGM entities worldwide. Work includes:

• Draft report reviews
• Work paper reviews
• Final report preparation and publication
• Track reports through review and publication process
• Track status of report recommendations
• Support review of compliance responses

Specific Tasks:

• OIG/ISP Quality Assurance Program Support
• Review draft reports and detailed work papers to ensure adherence to CIGIE standards and OIG and ISP policies.
• Assist inspectors to ensure that substantive facts, issues, conclusions, and recommendations are supported by sufficient evidence.
• Supports and participates in training courses for inspectors to communicate importance of quality controls and the standards on which OIG bases its work.

Final Report Preparation and Publication Support:

• Support OIG/ISP’s efforts to assure editorial quality, readability, and appropriate presentation of ISP reports.
• Ensure report files have required supporting documentation.
• Reviews cleared final reports for publication and ensures final published reports are compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

OIG/ISP Report and Report Recommendation Tracking:

• Track the status of OIG/ISP reports through the review and publication process.
• Enter report findings and recommendations into OIG’s management information system (MIS).

Compliance Response Analysis Support:

• Review compliance responses from the Department and USAGM.
• Using established criteria, determining whether actions taken by Department and USAGM meet the intent of the recommendations.
• Solicit and incorporate inspector analysis of responses.
• Final inspection and acceptance of all work performed, reports, and deliverables will be performed at the place of delivery.
• Work will be evaluated for quality, timeliness, professionalism, and compliance with CIGIE standards.

Quality Assurance:

The Government will conduct surveillance through:

• Weekly COR reviews
• Direct observation
• Review of written products
• Feedback from operations team leadership
• Performance will be monitored in accordance with the Government’s Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).

Clearance Requirements:

• Secret clearance; refer to specific requirements per the parent BPA and task order DD‑254.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least 3 years’ relevant experience in the following:
• Advanced writing and editing skills.
• Detail oriented to ensure the accuracy of information contained in management information systems.
• Excellent ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues.
• Capability to pay close attention to details while multitasking.
• Knowledge and experience in evaluating and interpreting policies, standards, directives, and other guidance.
• Ability to complete tasks in creative and effective ways.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
• Ability to plan and organize work and effectively prioritize tasks.
