Contract | Night Shift | 36–48 hours per week (3 or 4x12s) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment
• Apply independent and supervisory discretion in emergency room clinical decision-making
• Support an Epic EMR conversion as part of a backfill staffing initiative

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months and Cerner experience within the last 5 years (each work history entry must identify the charting system used, with dates if multiple systems were used at one employer)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Previous acute care facility experience
