Physical Therapist (PT) - General

Physical Therapist

Part-time hours: MondayFriday, 10:00 AM2:00 PM

This position does not guarantee selection as it is subject to a state-run bid process.

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

Current, unrestricted NY Physical Therapist license

CPR/BLS certification as required

Preferred experience with behavioral health, rehabilitation, acute care, or skilled nursing populations

Conduct PT evaluations and develop individualized plans of care

Implement therapeutic exercise, gait training, mobility, transfers, and strengthening techniques

Monitor progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed

Provide education to patients, families, and staff on mobility, fall prevention, and assistive devices

Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration and care coordination

Complete timely and accurate documentation, adhering to HIPAA and safety policies

Background checks required including statewide registry and criminal background check. Medical exemptions are accepted for the COVID-19 vaccine; flu vaccine requirements are unknown.
