Start date: 06/29/2026 | Contract length: 14 weeks | Pay: $1,426–$1,463 per week | Guaranteed hours: 35 per week
Shift: 08:00–16:30, 5 days per week
Setting: inpatient rehabilitation in a short-term care environment
This is a travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC with an increased pay rate for this assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to adult inpatients, under supervision as appropriate
- Conduct initial evaluations and develop/adjust remediation plans to support functional independence
- Implement evidence-based treatment activities focused on ADLs, mobility, and functional tasks
- Document patient progress, outcomes, and treatment data in required records
- Collaborate with the rehab team (OT, PT, SLP, nursing, case-management) to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to regulatory and facility policies

Requirements
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license (state of West Virginia) or eligibility
- Associate degree from an accredited OTA program
- CPR/First Aid certification (or BLS as required)
- Ability to work effectively in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to commit to a 14-week travel assignment
